Deep club rhythms, heavily doused with tonal manipulation. Long, meandering grooves and monstrous kick drums.

The first in our live series comes from our resident techno knob fondlers, Rohli. Just under an hour of deep, driving club music from the toon based duo recorded over the summer at Kaneda HQ. Featuring all new material we prepared for our performance at Northern Electric Festival over the summer, this was the culmination of one of the jams.

"Over the course of the session, we explore the world of improvisation within live electronic performance using boutique hardware, samplers and controllers, creating serendipitous moments of cohesion amongst a sporadically chaotic performance. A steady underlying structure lays the foundation, allowing us to create sounds and sequences on the fly. Arpeggios and manipulations weave from section to section, morphing effortlessly into one another, producing an intense, mesmeric mutation with a textured soundscape that is constantly modulating.

As we delve further into the idea of live performance and synthesis, this is far more colourful and melodic than anything we've every produced previously. nevertheless sticking to our mantra of pounding, relentless techno.

You are all cordially invited to witness us in the flesh as part of Giant Swan's European tour for a unique experiment into the weird and wonderful world of electronica. Expect us to go a little bit harder for this occasion as we shut things down on the 22nd November at the Star and Shadow."
